We started of the week learning more about condensation and evaporation. We did an experiment using a glass jar and hot water.
We worked together to create posters about what we learned. We love working together!
We did another experiment that represented a rain cloud!
Clouds are formed when water vapor rises into the air. When the vapour hits cold air, it turns back into droplets of water. Those tiny drops of water floating in the air collect and “stick” together to form clouds. When clouds get so full of water that they can’t hold any more, the water falls back to the ground as rain.
We put drops of food coloring on top of the shaving cream. The weight of the food coloring eventually falls through the shaving cream and it begins to rain!

Our Worm Farm is doing well! We fed them and explored their new environment.
It's Fall, so we want to observe how our tree has changed since summer. We talked about what looks different and how we think the weather affects the conditions of the tree.
Ms. Hochman came in and did some really cool experiments with us! We talked about air mass and how clouds form!
Fall Festival
Fall Festival was so much fun!
